European governments have rejected several Chinese-made equipment designed to combat the spread of the Corona virus, saying they do not meet certain standards.

According to the BBC, "European countries have rejected thousands of Chinese testing equipment and medical masks, stressing that they do not meet the required standards, and that some of them have manufacturing defects."

This has been done in Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands so far.
For his part, the Dutch Ministry of Health announced, last Saturday, to withdraw 600,000 face masks. The masks were part of a shipment that arrived from China on March 21, before being distributed to medical teams operating on the front lines.

Officials said that the sizes of the masks were not appropriate, and that their filters did not work as required, despite the accompanying quality certificates.

The Government and Politics of Spain faced similar problems with test equipment it had ordered from a Chinese company.

Consulate General Spain in China said on its Twitter page that the supplier company, Shenzhen Bioeasy, does not have an official license from the Chinese medical authorities to sell its products.

Turkey announced that it had found that some of the testing equipment it had requested from Chinese companies was not sufficiently accurate, although about 350,000 of them had worked well.
